Thai Yoga Massage

Traditional Thai Massage has a long history of therapeutic healing and has been practised for about 2500 years. It has become more popular today because of its natural approach and lack of side effects.

Thai Yoga Massage is related to Tui Na (Chinese massage), Ayurvedic (Indian) and Shiatsu and so incorporated many cultural and religious influences.

The therapist incorporates the use of the feet, hands, elbows, thumbs and knees to allow the release of tension held within the body. Thai Yoga Massage is practiced on the floor without the use of oil and with the receiver remaining lightly clothed.

Traditional Thai Yoga Massage is a deep, full-body treatment, which can be both stimulating and relaxing. Thai massage combines acupressure, energy balancing, stretching and applied yoga exercises. Pressure-point massage along the body's ten major energy channels, or 'sen' lines, releases blocked energy which increases awareness and vitality. Gentle stretching of the joints and muscles relieves tension, enhances flexibility and induces a deep state of tranquillity. Traditional Thai Yoga Massage is like nothing else in the world of massage and must be experienced to truly appreciate its rejuvenating and healing benefits.
