Bowen
Technique
The
Bowen Technique is a gentle therapy that aims to promote the body's
natural ability to heal itself. It has been shown to be effective
for a variety of physical complaints and illnesses, for emotional
healing and for general symptoms of stress. |
|
For
example, it can benefit old injuries and joint problems - including
back, neck and knee problems, wrist strain and other chronic pain.
It can also help a variety of other conditions, such as migraine,
insomnia, digestive problems, respiratory problems, neurological disorders,
general sluggish immune system and ME. |
|
A
Bowen session is carried out on a massage table and is generally very
relaxing.
It involves light moves made on specific points of the body; directly
either on the skin or through light clothing, with short breaks between
each series of moves |
